How Does SpeedDial Work?
If you are using your smartphone or tablet to go online, or if you are going to be doing this a lot, you can use SpeedDial. SpeedDial is a free Chrome extension that provides you with access to emergency numbers and various help and support services directly from the omnibox. It can also be used to initiate chat conversations with other people or with a hotline directly from the SpeedDial.
How does it work?
When you click on a number on the page, a call will be made and you will be connected with that person or the service. The app will then allow you to speak to the person or service you wish to reach.
After that, you will be asked a few questions to get a profile for that person or service. The user profile page will display the state’s list of emergency numbers, hotline numbers, the user’s country, and the app’s name. There will be a button next to each number that will lead you to that person’s/service’s website.
